Featuring the vocals of Sammy and Yasushi Sawada for the first time, this is a rock groove with a mysterious black glow, featuring the backing of Mitsuhiko Sato, Kousei Mizutani, Hiro Yanagida and others. Original release: NCB-7013 (1971/10 /1) Profile: Born October 3, 1933. Saxophone player/producer. He has been active as a professional since high school, and after playing in 'Frankie Sakai and the City Slickers' and 'George Kawaguchi and the Big Four, ' he formed his own group 'Jiro Inagaki Quintet' in 1962. The following year, he participated in the Japan tour of the Liorne Hampton Orchestra and the Hideo Shiraki Quintet with Terumasa Hino. In 1969, he formed the jazz-rock style group 'Jiro Inagaki and Soul Media'. Currently, works from that time are sought after by rare groove enthusiasts around the world. He participated in the Japanese performances of 'Stevie Wonder, ' 'The Stylistics, ' 'Frank Sinatra, ' 'The Temptations, ' and 'Sade' as a session player. He has been active in a wide range of fields, including working as a producer and music director on films such as 'Hideki Saijo' and 'Pink Lady, ' as well as being involved in the production of Eiichi Otaki's 'NIAGARA' series. Passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 90.
